Overview
The ROTA In-Cab Android App is a professional control and monitoring interface designed to work together with ROTA hardware systems such as ROTA MDS and ROTA OrKo.

The application runs on an Android tablet mounted inside the tractor cabin and supports real-time guidance, system monitoring, and operational data recording during field work.

The application is not a standalone consumer app and requires compatible ROTA hardware to function.

What the app does
The ROTA Android App enables operators to:
  • View real-time guidance and system status
  • Configure operational parameters before and during field work
  • Monitor application rates and system feedback
  • Record field sessions and operational data
  • Review completed operations directly from the cabin
The app is designed for professional agricultural use under real field conditions.
How it is used
  1. An Android tablet is mounted inside the tractor cabin
  2. The tablet connects to installed ROTA hardware
  3. The operator launches the ROTA application
  4. Field operation parameters are defined via the interface
  5. Real-time guidance and system data are displayed during work
  6. Operational data is automatically recorded throughout the session

  • ROTA OrKo – Version 1
Available functions depend on the connected hardware configuration.
Hardware dependency
The application operates as part of an integrated hardware–software system.

ROTA hardware components (GNSS units, sensors, control modules) provide operational data, while the Android application functions as the in-cab user interface.

The app cannot perform guidance or control functions without connected ROTA hardware.
Data usage
During field operations, the application may process and display the following data:
  • GNSS-based location data
  • System status and feedback
  • Application rate information (when ROTA OrKo is connected)
  • Session-based operational records
The data is used solely for system functionality, operational traceability, and performance monitoring.
